Helped out by the fact that Brussels is one of the few places that has not been affected by the anti-smoking directive of the EU the city is still buzzing with life. Throughout Brussels are plenty of places where you can grab a coffee, a tea, a pastry, or if you are in need of something a little stronger a great pint. The designer city is filled with plenty of hip cafes with Bohemian designs, neighbourhood cafes that offer you a taste of local life, and of course the traditional cafes that have foaming pints of VEdette, the local fav.
