Known as the city of Bridges, it would be easy to spend weeks in Porto, Portugal, exploring the rich scents and flavours of the town, but if you only have 36 hours then you will need to narrow down your itinerary to make sure that you see the best that the charming Portuguese town has to offer. The charm of the city is easy to observe as it sits on steep hills with the river Douro passing underneath and providing for great views form the compact cobblestone streets of the city proper.
