Google announced that it will invest in European clean energy that will hopefully not be its only investment into the country after pledging a whopping 3.5m Euros into a new solar power plant that will be constructed in Berlin, Germany. However, Google is not the only one fronting money for the new solar project as private German equity company Capital Stage will also be pledging money to the 47 hectare facility that will be found in the Berlin suburb of Brandenburg an der Havel. The Capital Stage investment however is pending the approval German authorities.
